It should do as a fine upgrade to your Mac system, if you're brave enough to open it up

As it happens, the Jewel and World Cup Series flash drives aren't the only products that Panram introduced this week. There's a new line of DDR3 memory modules as well.

And it's a pretty unusual line too. Sure, it looks normal (disregarding the unusually black PCB), and it has the same DIMM form factor you might be used to.

Still, it's unusual in the fact that it's not meant to be used in any PC. Not of the Intel-powered, Windows-running variety anyhow.

Instead, the Panram DDR3 Apple Mac Module is, you got it, made for the Apple Max all-in-one system series.

There's a module with a chip frequency of DDR3-1866 MHz, and another with DDR3-1600 rating. Well, actually there are a whole bunch of drives, of 4 GB, 8 GB and 16 GB sold standalone or in pair, so that you can install up to 32 GB in a Mac.

The list below has all the modules and kits, complete with clocks and latencies. All the modules have automatic error correction code (ECC) for good data stability.

Regrettably, prices weren't included in the list, so you'll probably have to stop by an Apple store and ask about them if you're in the market for an upgrade.
