What's this world coming to when even celebrities' phones are no longer safe from being stolen? You'd think that pickpockets would have the decency to avoid famous people, especially if they're very well liked by the public, much like Kit Harington is thanks to his role of Jon Snow in the hit TV series “Game of Thrones.”

It turns out that Kit lost a very essential piece of his own kit when he went out for a drink in London. The actor is now worried sick that personal information from his personal mobile phone is going to leak on the internet, after it got stolen by a mean-spirited person.

The British actor was enjoying himself with friends in a pub in London, knocking down drinks, before he began promoting his latest full-feature film “Pompeii” when he noticed that his phone was stolen from the table where he had put it.

Contactmusic quotes the actor who said that “It was nicked from a table of a pub I was in over in Battersea, London,” but refused to give any specific details on the location or the event.

He goes on to say that “I was gutted as I had to go away for work the next day and had no way of contacting people. Apple have assured me they've locked it, but I'm not so sure.” He is now fretting that the people who stole it are going to hack his phone and have access to very private information that they will eventually leak on the internet.

It leads many to consider what exactly Kit had on his phone that is causing him to worry so much that it will get leaked? Just how personal are those “personal photos?” That question might not ever get answered since Apple has locked out his phone and is now probably tracking it so that they are going to find it for him in the shortest time possible.

But that's not stopping Kit from worrying like an old lady, “When you end up seeing all my personal photos on the Internet, you'll know why. It also had all my contacts' details in there too, so there's a lot at stake.”

We can't shake the bad feeling that there's more at stake here than just his emails, personal contacts and photos taken with fans. Let's be real for a second, that's not the kind of stuff you fret over when you lose your phone. It's the stuff that you're not supposed to have in there that worries us, which that normally for famous people consists of illicit love affairs with other famous people, drug use and abuse, indecent photos and other potentially scandalous material.

If the phone thief in question goes to the tabloids, he might make himself a small fortune, since those guys are bound to draw out every last drop of confidential material on the actor's iPhone.
