The newcomer is shaped that way in order to make cable management easier

As far as desktop cases go, the new model from DeepCooll, called Pangu ATX, doesn't look all that spectacular at first glance, despite those two blue highlights on the sides.

Sure, the blue colored mesh is a nice enough way to give the chassis some style, but when everything else is ordinary, without even a side-window, there's not much to talk about.

Ordinarily that is. But the DeepCool Pangu ATX isn't an ordinary SECC steel and ABS plastic case. Sure, it looks normal from afar, but it's actually wider than most of its kind.

That is because DeepCool figured a gap of 2 centimeters between the motherboard tray and the right panel would make cable management easier.

And since easier cable management means more free space in the case, that leads to better airflow and, by extension, superior cooling, even with just the minimum of fans.

Speaking of which, there are two 120 mm fans on the front, for air intake, but they can be replaced by a 120 x 240 mm radiator. You'll have to detach the 3.5/2.5-inch cages though (there are two of them, with three bays each).

Speaking of bays, there are three 5.25-inch ones as well, for optical disk drives, fan controllers, water cooling pumps, or whatever else customers decide to fill them with.

Add to that the perforated steel panels covering the front and top vents (both detachable without need for tools), and you have everything needed to make sure no hot air can find a place to hide. Of course, the 120 mm bottom intake and the 120 mm rear exhaust fans will help with that too.

Other things worth noting are the cutouts for CPU cooler and cable management (on the motherboard tray), and the front panel with two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports. HD audio and mic jacks are available there as well.

Finally, the expansion slot covers and drive cages we have mentioned before are tool-less as well. DeepCool really pulled all the ease-of-use stops on this one. Too bad the price is still a secret.
