A new flavor of the Pandora application is now available for download for devices running under Google’s Android operating system, namely version 4.2.

The new application release arrives on devices running under Ice Cream Sandwich or newer flavors of the Android platform with support for lock screen controls, which should appeal to a lot of users.

Furthermore, the updated software added elapsed and remaining timestamps to the track progress indicator, and was also designed to sport a reduced startup time.

On top of that, Pandora for Android received a series of bug fixes and other enhancements, which should translate into a better overall experience for all users. The app remains free, enabling Android owners to enjoy the music and comedy they like through a personalized radio.
