Publisher Slitherine has announced that the hit strategy title from Proxy Studios, Pandora: First Contact, has now gone multi-platform.

Pandora: First Contact is a sci-fi turn-based strategy game in the 4X genre, inspired by the legendary Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri.

The game is set in the future, where many ideologically different factions such as private corporations and religious movements have started an unending war that has drained Earth's resources, and humanity is now looking to the skies, where decades of exploration have now revealed the promise of a new world.

Slitherine has announced that when buyers get Pandora, they're not just limited to one of the platforms the game supports, Mac, Windows or Linux, but instead they get all formats in a single package, with a serial number that works for all builds and no intrusive DRM.

Purchasers of the boxed edition of Pandora: First Contact will also benefit from this offer, marking a new step in the evolution of publisher Slitherine's distribution efforts, as all their future multi-platfrom PC games will have a single download containing all formats and allowing players to install on all operating systems they own.
