Security solutions provider Panda Security has released the 6.5 variant of the company’s Panda Cloud Office Protection (PCOP).

The new version comes with some important functional and technological improvements. They include anti-exploit technologies, scheduled updates and reporting, compatibility with Exchange 2013 and popular Linux distributions, and URL filtering.

The solution allows organizations to enhance their security posture by detecting threats such as malware and phishing before they can cause any damage to the targeted computer.

And since this is a cloud-based product, PCOP 6.5 can be remotely managed from anywhere.

“We aim to help companies increase their productivity with a solution that allows businesses to monitor and control employees’ use of the Internet, while protecting them when they browse the Web or download contents,” commented Manuel Santamaría, global product manager at Panda Security.

“Our new solution facilitates security management and provides an additional layer of protection against malicious Internet links and exploits that take advantage of system vulnerabilities.”
