Panasonic has finally put a date on its ultra though 20-inch 4K tablet, which has been spotted before at the CES 2013 and at the Panasonic convention in France.

The device was displayed at the IFA as well, where it was revealed as being ready to ship in Europe by this November.

This is not a slate for the average consumers, but business and professionals working in creative fields like architecture, planning or design will be very interested in the gizmo.

With a 20-inch screen, one would expect a resolution to match. And that’s about right as the Panasonic tablet, dubbed Thoughpad 4K UT-MB5, sports a massive 3840 x 2560 resolution. Graphic capabilities are provided by Nvidia GeForce.

The machine is powered by Windows 8.1 and works great in concert with the Panasonic wireless Electronic Touch Pen. When it’s time for complicated blueprints, such an accessory is absolutely necessary.

Spec-wise, the device packs an Intel Core i5 vPro processor coupled with 8 GB of memory and 256 GB of storage.

The invincible Toughpad 4K will not come cheap, as the price has been set for as much as $6,000 / €4,500.
