The newcomers have unique designs, or so the company claims

Headphones aren't exactly a no-brainer, especially when you want to make them fit a certain theme, like that of autumn, but Panasonic more than rose to the occasion this time, one might say.

Which is to say, the corporation has formally launched a bunch of new headphones, called RP-HT480C, RP-HT470C, RP-HX450C, RP-HX250M, RP-TCM190 and RP-TCM125.

The first four are monitor-style headphones, as Panasonic calls them, which means they have an over-ear design (circumaural earcups).

The other two are smaller, with earbuds, for smartphones, MP3 players, iPods, watches, etc.

Panasonic RP-HT480C have a rounded-rectangular earcup, soft padding, 50 mm drivers, integrated remote and microphone for Apple gadgets (iPhone, iPad and iPod), and a fold flat design.

They sell with a carrying pouch for $149.99 / €149.99, in one of three color options: Glossy Black, Glossy White and Matte Dark Silver with Brown Headband.

The RP-HT470C are similar in many ways, but they have 40 mm drivers, and sell in matte finished violet, blue and dark silver. Their price is of $99.99 / €99.99.

Moving on, Panasonic RP-HX450C Headphones feature an elongated round earcup style with a translucent finish.

They use the same flat-fold design and 36 mm drivers. Really, the difference seems to be in the driver size (and, thus, the sound clarity/intensity) and nothing else. Their price is of $69.99 / €69.99.

Sure enough, the RP-HX250M are identical but with a smaller driver size (probably 34 or 29). Their price is $39.99 / €39.99.

That leaves the two earbud models. The Panasonic RP-TCM190 will ship in metallic purple, blue, black and silver for $34.99 / €34.99, and the RP-TCM125 (ErgoFit design, black, white, red, purple and blue colors) for $19.99 / €19.99.

Make sure you read exactly what the spec sheets say on each product if you find them listed on your chosen retailer. Android devices and BlackBerry phones should be supported as easily as iPhones and such, but you can never be too careful.
