Business professionals looking for a 2-in-1 Ultrabook that combines tablet and laptop utilities in a single machine should check out Panasonic’s latest offering, the Toughbook CF-AX3. The PC maker says the device is perfect for those in the sale business, research teams and executives.

The new device represents CF-AX2’s successor and comes sporting an 11.6-inch Full HD touch-enabled IPS anti-glare display. Panasonic has added an Intel Core vPro i5-4300U Processor CPU that will improve overall battery, making the device last up to 12 hours.

With a durable design standard, the new Panasonic can be used as a tablet, as it features a screen that can be flipped over with 360°. Professionals can quickly switch to notebook mode for activities that necessitate the use of a keyboard.

The Ultrabook is very light at 1.135kg / 2.5 pounds and features an 18-mm / 0.7-inch thickness, which makes it perfect for being carried around by busy workers on the move, anytime, anywhere. Other functionalities include 4G/LTE (or 3G option), Bluetooth and Wireless LAN IEEE802 11a/b/g/n.

CF-AX2 can ship with Windows 8.1 Pro on board, but Windows 7 is also an option.

Panasonic will bring the new Ultrabooks in Europe somewhere in November 2013. Customers will be able to pick theirs up from the official Panasonic site and other third-party distributors. Pricing availability will start at £1,379 / $2,231 / €1,616.
