Although Panasonic has confirmed that it will quit the smartphone business, two of its products have just landed in India and will compete with local companies, such as Micromax, Lava and iBall.

AndroidOS reports that Panasonic P11 and T11 are now available for purchase in India via Snapdeal for Rs 16,364 ($265/€195) and Rs 9,520 ($155/€115), respectively. Keep in mind that these handsets were previously spotted at Flipkart a few months ago and now are back on sale.

Panasonic P11 comes with a large 5-inch HD (720p) capacitive touchscreen display and an 8-megapixel main camera. On the inside, the smartphone packs a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM.

The handset ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and sports a secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and dual-SIM support.

The T11 has a much smaller 4-inch WVGA touchscreen display and a lower 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU and features 1GB of RAM and dual-SIM support.
