We reported less than two weeks ago that Panasonic planned to launch a high-end Android smartphone codenamed P-02E.

It appears that the folks over at Techkiddy have just spotted the Panasonic P-02E at FCC (Federal Communications Commission).

The smartphone received certification for Japanese carrier NTT Docomo and is expected to arrive on the market in the following weeks.

Panasonic P-02E boasts an impressive 5-inch full HD display and packs a powerful 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor.

Furthermore, the device will ship with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, as well as LTE and NFC (Near Field Communication) support.

Last but not least, the P-02E features a water resistant body and supports wireless charging, Wi-Fi connectivity and microSD card. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
