Fujifilm and Olympus have already announced their latest mirrorless cameras last week and, according to the most recent rumors, Panasonic and Sony won't wait too long before introducing their newest interchangeable lens cameras.

Panasonic GH 4K is one of the most expected mirrorless cameras right now, due mostly to its 4K video capturing capabilities at speeds of up to 200Mbps. While we wait for the official announcement, which is expected on February 7 at 5-6AM GMT, MirrorlessRumors has received the first possible specs for the upcoming Panasonic model.

Yesterday, we also found out that Panasonic GH 4K featured an improved 16MP sensor optimized to capture Ultra High Definition video footage at 200Mbps, which means that the picture quality will remain pretty much the same as with the GH3.

The new camera will also integrate ALL-I intra mode recording and will have a 2.36M-dot OLED EVF, but for the moment there's no information regarding its coverage and magnification rate.

For those of you who think that 4K is too much or don't have a 4K device to watch the video at its native resolution, the camera will allow you to switch from 4K to 1080p in an instant. With Panasonic GH 4K you will be capable of recording 1080p Full HD video footage at 120 frames per second.

The camera will also come with an attachable XLR adapter that will allow you to get a balanced audio signal when using professional external microphones. Finally, GH 4K will use an H.264 codec to encode video footage and comes with focus peaking.

There's no information about the availability of the upcoming Panasonic GH 4K, but it seems that the camera will be priced somewhere around $2,000 / €1,467. Stay tuned on Softpedia, as more info regarding the camera's specs will surely be available before the official announcement on February 7.
