When it comes to CES 2014 and Panasonic, everyone is waiting an official announcement of the company's latest GH-series camera, the GH 4K.

Panasonic has already announced a new compact and bridge superzoom camera at this year's first important international electronics show, but nothing has been disclosed about the upcoming GH 4K camera, besides a mockup model showcased at the company's booth.

According to Engadget, a Panasonic representative has divulged a few new details about the firm's new GH-series camera. It seems that the new Panasonic GH model is capable of capturing 4K video footage at 200Mbps, which can be displayed as a full live feed on a computer via a mini-HDMI cable.

This means that you will need a lot of space to capture a few minutes of 4K footage and for that, the camera comes with SDXC support, but the company has also displayed a UHS Class 3 prototype specially designed for this task.

The camera will officially be revealed in late February at a price of around $2,000 / €1,467. Check out the photo gallery below for a glimpse of the upcoming GH 4K camera.
