Panasonic has just made an announcement in which it promotes the PT-LZ370U, a video projector that will come in handy during art history and film classes, plus engineering R&D, among other things.

The PT-LZ370U can project images in Full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) and at a brightness of 3,000 lumens.

Also, the aspect ratio is of 16:9, the same that more or less every other display and projector out there utilizes.

Also, the contrast ratio is of 10,000:1, while the image clarity is further enhanced by Detail Clarity Processor 3 technology and the Daylight View Premium feature.

Daylight View Premium basically measures ambient light and adjusts the brightness accordingly.

All in all, this is the sort of projector that can handle not just common images and videos, but also Blu-ray content and, through the DICOM Simulation mode, X-ray images as well.

“With an increasing amount of content being produced in HD, our business customers need a projector that can bring it to life in its true form,” said Scott Wellington, product marketing manager at Panasonic.

“The PT-LZ370U projector’s 1920 x 1080 resolution, combined with high brightness and an excellent contrast ratio, make it an ideal device for a number of our customers in a variety of industries. For example, filmmakers can show their work to a film class, providing students with greater insight into their original vision and showing them the fine details they were not able to display before.”

Panasonic's creation should be good for most sorts of rooms, regardless of shapes and sizes, not to mention easy to install. Replacing whatever projectors used to be employed before should be simple as well.

Finally, in addition to 2x zoom lens and wide vertical/horizontal lens shift capabilities, the product is not too power-hungry either, even featuring an Eco Management function.

Panasonic is already selling the PT-LZ370U through authorized resellers at a price of $4,499 (3,431.7 Euro).
