This is a miracle come true: all my life I've waited for this magical moment, when Pamela Anderson would put on this red bikini again and start running on the beach, as if to save someone's life or something. No, strike that last part:
exactly as if she were running to rescue someone because, you know, she played the part of a lifeguard in the popular series 'Baywatch'.
For some reason or another, DIRECTV chose Pamela Anderson as the face (the boobs, to be more precise) of their latest advertising campaign and here are some shots taken on the scene. You can see that Pamela dressed in the 'Baywatch' trademark bathing suit once again, grabbed the lifeguard floater and proudly displayed her two other patent floaters (look carefully, there's no way in Hell you can miss them!) and, by doing all this, she almost made us relive the glorious old days.
I say 'almost' because many things have changed along the years - Pammy's face, the size of her breasts, her body and, last but not least, our attitude towards the 'Playboy' favorite model - and, obviously, nothing can be the same as it was so many years ago. However, it is great to see that Pamela still fits the red bikini and even manages to pull it off, since not the same can be said about many other celebrities.
All in all, despite the negative press Pamela has been getting lately (you know, she is aging and it shows and the paparazzi are not happy), she is looking quite okay, except for that first photo in which a very distinct patch of cellulite can be seen on her upper thigh. But, surely, the guys from DIRECTV will find the adequate means of taking out all these 'imperfections' and all we'll be left with will be Pamela, just the way she looked back in the days when she still was a television star. It will be just like time never went by!
Stay tuned here for more info on the commercial and its release date. Knowing Pamela's acting skills from masterpieces like 'VIP' and 'Barb Wire', DIRECTV will be pleased they paid her money to star in their ad. Plus, most definitely it will be some fine quality s**t, the kind you don't get to see very often. These being said, I'm happy for Pam: she finally landed a job (PETA campaigns are not included here).
