Pammy Anderson is set to conquer the world and turn it all into a more booby-friendly place for blond TV actresses turned strippers, turned sex tap protagonists, turned magician's assistants. And if you thought you had so far pretty much seen what Pammy was all about, guess again. The former Playboy darling and proud wearer of a bright-red lifeguard suit is set to make her official comeback on the small screen as the protagonist of an "observational documentary series" - a reality TV show, in other words - which promises to offer all the die-hard boobielicious Pammy lovers out there an intimate portrayal of the iconic actress and mother.
The series (which has been given the working title "Pamela") will hit our small screens this summer on E! "E!'s cameras capture Pam's fabulous adventures, emotional journey and all the surprises that come along the way. It's going to be a wild ride," proudly proclaimed E! executive vice president Lisa Berger. The news on Pammy's current series comes days after the thrice-married blond has been seen cozying up to an old flame, ratty-looking magician Criss Angel. The two - who are said to be close friends - were also briefly linked during Anderson's latest short-lived marriage to professional poker player and sex tape star Rick Salomon. In the end, Pammy's life would be pretty boring without yet another potential love interest, so buckle up for some extreme Pammy hotness this summer and keep your fingers crossed she will fall for a cleaner-looking guy.
With so much romance and adventure going on in her life, it's sometimes easy to forget that Pammy is also a mother: she has two sons from her marriage to rocker Tommy Lee - Brandon, 11, and Dylan, 9. The boys will most likely be heavily featured on their mother's show, which will help remind the world that Pammy is in fact just another responsible parent who does normal things like volunteering on the safety patrol of her sons' school.
"I get a lot of high fives," she says. "[Other parents] think it's funny that I'm there doing that. I'm a Mom - you have to do it and I love it." However, something tells me that Pammy will have to do a lot more than that to keep up her ratings over the summer, so stay tuned for more news and updates.
