Those who have been keeping an eye on Pamela Anderson’s style over the past 2 decades must have realized already that it hasn’t changed that much all this time. The other day, Pamela showed off her new, more sophisticated and toned down style.

Attending the International Beauty Show in NYC, Pamela showed off a more demure look which she told Buzzfeed was part of her new image.

Gone were the generous cleavage, the overdone makeup, the crazy hair and incredibly short skirts, with Pamela, the ultimate blonde bombshell for many, looking classy and chic in a simple but very fitted black dress, minimal makeup and a messy updo.

Speaking with Buzzfeed about beauty and how she feels about being told she’s beautiful, Pamela says that she’s been noticing people trying to get her to tone down for years.

It looks like she’s finally allowed herself to be convinced that such a move is necessary.

“I think it's time, though — you know, you grow up and you change your look. I feel different from how I did in my Playboy days,” she says.

“Now, I think I'm in charge of toning down my look or not. I feel like as I'm getting older, this is my version of toned down (gestures to hair and outfit). I like it,” Pamela adds.

Judging by reactions online, her fans like it too.

Pamela has always been a beautiful woman but, in recent years, all that heavy makeup and unflattering outfits never did her any favors, often making her look clownish.

We’ll see if this makeover is something she’s sold on for good but, for the time being, let’s enjoy it.
