14 DAY TRIAL // The Pamela Anderson of today, who is 47 years old, dresses and styles herself almost in the same way as the Pamela of “Baywatch” did such a long time ago. Coming as proof that, indeed, sometimes a bit less can be more, is a new spread with the bombshell – after she received a makeunder.
Known for her heavy smoky eyes look and her unconditional love for everything with a very low-cut cleavage, Pamela is almost unrecognizable in a new spread for the Autumn issue of Notofu magazine.
You can see the two photos that have been released online in the gallery below, together with one from before Pam cut her hair, in typical Pam fashion.
In both shots, which capture a wide-eyed, doll-like Pamela, the actress and model is wearing her hair styled in a very elegant and sleek bob, adorned with a big velvet bow on the side. She’s wearing retro-inspired dresses and has her makeup kept down to a bare minimum, including mascara, foundation and just a hint of pink lipstick, which makes her gorgeous blue eyes stand out even more.
Notofu mag writes on Facebook that the photos were snapped by Zoey Grossman, while Pamela was styled by JAK. And they include this quote as well: “I have something inside of me, and I'm ready to try. Let me happen to it, instead of it happening to me.”
Pamela has said in previous interviews that she’d been working on a very special and very secret new project, and that she was itching to see how her fans would react to it, because it would take her into an entirely different direction than the one she’s been on, thus revealing a new side of her.
So perhaps this new spread is meant to promote that. The issue comes out this week and will hopefully include an interview with Anderson as well, to finally put an end to all this secrecy.
What’s not a secret anymore is that Pamela has dropped her divorce petition from Rick Salomon, which she filed in July after just 2 months of marriage.
Shortly after word of this got out, they were spotted out and about together again, and even went on vacation as a couple. It took some time to have the case dismissed, presumably because she wanted to make sure that, this time, the reconciliation was going to last.
Insiders told the tabloids that their relationship had been rocky from the start so, when Pamela filed for divorce, it wasn’t because she’d stopped loving Rick but because she just couldn’t take the drama and the uncertainty anymore.
“They love each other, but it's always a roller coaster with Pam and Rick. No one should be shocked if they reconcile. Since she filed for divorce, Rick has been begging Pam to halt the proceedings,” one spy said at the time of the filing.
