Pamela Anderson is about to be a single woman again, having just filed the divorce papers that would mark the legal end of her marriage to Rick Salomon… for the second time around. The two first married in 2007, but Pam filed for an annulment on the basis of fraud after just 2 months.

This time, they lasted longer. The two were seen vacationing together last summer and, by fall, Pam was admitting on camera that they were “friends with benefits” who were having the time of their life.

Though she didn’t as much as hint that there was anything serious going on, in January, the former “Baywatch” stunner dropped the bomb: she and Rick had gotten married in secret and were very happy about it.

If the name Salomon is vaguely familiar to you, that must be because of his connection to Paris Hilton: he is actually a producer, but his biggest claim to fame so far is that of co-starring with the socialite in the world-famous and universally-ridiculed “One Night in Paris.”

TMZ confirms the news of the divorce, but it’s yet to get a hold of the papers in order to reveal the reason cited. It will most likely be that of “irreconcilable differences” but, given the timing of the filing, something else, something fishy might also be going on.

“Interesting timing... Salomon, a world-class poker player, won $2.8 million (€2.05 million) in the World Series of Poker Big One for One Drop last Tuesday. Pam filed on Thursday, so under the community property laws she gets half by the skin of her teeth... unless there's a prenup,” the celebrity publication reports.

Anderson has seen better days financially, so it could be that she saw Salomon’s winning as her ticket out of a bad situation. Of course, if she’s really capable of such cold calculations, we’ll probably find out in a few days, when more details on the divorce emerge online.

She’s yet to address the divorce filing in any way, but she did post a message on her Facebook page that could be linked to it, the same media outlet writes. Though she’s never made a show of being religious, the message is from “a prayer from Rev. Maryum Morse from the Agape Center” and talks about releasing your loved ones to God and refusing “to be irritate,” but also of pain and learning to move past it.

Pamela’s love life has been as colorful as her resume: she was also married (briefly) to Kid Rock and to Tommy Lee Jones, with whom she starred in her own, very popular home-made adult tape. They have 2 children together.
