Cingular,
Palm Treo 680 is sleeker than earlier Palm models,
due in part to its internal antenna but, apart from that, Palm hasn't changed this smartphone's design very much.
The spacious
QWERTY keyboard, the touchscreen with a 320 x 320 pixel resolution and five-way navigation key make it yet another easy to use texting and document editing device. Treo 680 features a 312 MHz Intel PXA 270 processor, quad-band GMS,Bluetooth, speakerphone. It also has a VGA camera, 352 x 288 video recording and 64MB of internal storage space. The software includes an Mp3 player, instant messaging software and a few other PalmOS compatible applications. Designed to be affordable and easy to use, Palm Treo 680 doesn't offer spectacular features.
In the end, the Treo 680 is a very good choice for first-time smart phone buyers and it is priced at $199 on a two-year contract. Although it's being produced in four colors: crimson, copper, arctic and graphite, on Cingular it is only available in graphite.
