Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless has made available for purchase on its website two already announced handsets, namely the webOS-based Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus. Both handsets were unveiled officially during CES 2010 in Las Vegas, at the beginning of the year, and now they are listed on the carrier's website as available for acquisition, just as it promised. Those who would like to snag one of these beauties can see them on Verizon's website here, for the Pre Plus, and here, for the Pixi Plus.

“The Palm Pre Plus phone helps you navigate your life with an advanced touchscreen, full keyboard, and the intuitive Palm webOS that keeps multiple apps open at once. View websites and watch videos in widescreen. Slide out the keyboard to fire off a text or email. Bring work and personal events or contacts together into one simple view. All in an elegant design that fits perfectly in your hand, and your life,” the carrier describes the Pre Plus on its website. The same description can be read for Pixi Plus too, without the “slide out the keyboard to fire off a text or email” part.

The price tags for the two webOS phones from Palm have been unveiled already, and most of you might know by now that the Pre Plus goes for $149.99 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the carrier and after a $100 mail in rebate, while Pixi Plus is priced at $99.99 under the same conditions. However, those willing to purchase one of them will have to also acquire a “data feature of $29.99 or higher or a data plan,” as all “Windows Mobile, Palm, BlackBerry and Android Smartphones” at Verizon require it.

We should also mention that the wireless carrier has included these phones in its Buy-One-Get-One offer, which delivers one handset for free upon the purchase of another one of equal or higher price and upon the signing of a contract agreement for each device. However, while the purchase of a Pixi Plus can provide you with a free Pixi Plus, the acquisition of a Pre Plus will only offer you the possibility to get a free LG VX5500 or BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230. Pixi Plus was expected to be offered for free with a Pre Plus; however, it seems that Verizon hasn't updated the offer just yet, though it should do so soon.
