Those who have said that the PDA is dying were probably unaware of the advantages offered by such a device, compared to the smartphones.

To outline this fact, Palm launched yesterday Palm TX, a Wi-Fi compatible handheld Wi-Fi, which comes with an extremely affordable price, despite the fact that it offers a color display and it's also Bluetooth compatible

With the versatility of two integrated wireless technologies, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, Palm TX handheld customers
can enjoy the convenience of information they want readily at hand, whether relaxing at a cafe with compatible Wi-Fi service or using their compatible Bluetooth-enabled cell phone with data service to connect to the Internet.

New mobile applications optimized for use over Wi-Fi, such as Avvenu and MobiTV, give Palm TX users additional versatility. With Avvenu for Palm Products, users can view, download and share their media and documents they left on their desktops at home or at work.

And if the hardware specs are not enough, the 30 days free subscription to all the T-Mobile hot-spots will surely thrill American buyers. The price for such a PDA is $300.

In addition, Palm also has announced the Z22 organizer, which is one of the most affordable colored handheld from Palm yet. Given its simplicity of usage, Palm Z22 is aimed mainly at new users and young people.

Weighing just over 3 ounces and about the same size as a deck of playing cards, the Palm Z22 organizer is compact and stylish, with its white front and translucent blue backing.

The Palm Z22 organizer has an estimated U.S.street price of $99 and is available today at Palm Retail Stores and at select retail and resellers throughout the world.
