In order to get details with the attacked areas

It happens again: the terrorists are again using Google's downloadable mapping tool to obtain details about several Israel locations in order to launch rocket attacks. According to the Telegraph, the Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip obtained high-resolution photos with the areas which could be easily used in dangerous attacks. The Mountain View company didn't issue a statement yet and at the time of writing this article, it wasn't confirmed Google Earth plans to blur some of the photos. However, this is not the first time when the terrorists turn to Google's mapping software because some other extremists used it in the past with the same goal: attack a location using the high-resolution photos from Google Earth.

Back in January, it was reported that Google Earth served as the perfect solution for the Iraqi terrorists who were using the Google technology to gain detailed photos with Basra. Their main purpose was to attack the UK army located in Basra but, after the Mountain View company was informed about these malicious plans, it replaced the high-res photos with older ones, captured before the departure of the troops in Basra.

A few months ago, some terrorists who were caught by the US authorities sustained they took details from Google Earth in order to attack the JFK International Airport. The imagery provided by the mapping utility was pretty detailed so they could offer a very large amount of information for the extremists. However, the authorities managed to stop the attacks before they occurred so nothing happened.

This time, Google must do something because it's obvious that Google Earth is able to turn into a dangerous solution for us in a matter of seconds. Maybe it would be a great idea to blur all the hot locations in the world where there are reports of war or conflicts between the countries/authorities and the insurgents since many of them turn to Google's application to organize bomb and rocket attacks.
