The official website of Palestine’s Ministry of Justice (moj.gov.ps) has been hacked and defaced by a Jordanian hacker called Evil-Jo.

“Where Is The Security ? This is very Bad Security! Server boxed | LOL ! Jordan Hacker was here with greetings to All Jordanian Hackers,” the hacker wrote on the defacement page.

HackRead reports that the hacker hasn’t provided any reasons for targeting the website of Palestine’s Ministry of Justice. However, this attack is particularly interesting because there are only a few hacktivists and hacktivist groups that focus on Palestine.

At the time of writing, the defacement page hosted at www.moj.gov.ps/evil.htm is still online despite the fact that almost 48 hours have passed since the actual breach.

Evil-Jo’s Zone-h account also reveals that the Ministry of Justice is not the only Palestinian organization targeted by the hacker. He has also defaced the websites of several educational institutions, and the ones of the Palestinian Land Authority, and the Ministry of Public Works and Housing.
