Pakistani hackers of the P4K-M4D-HUNT3R-Z group have breached and defaced the official website of Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd, an Indian telecommunications company based in Mumbai.

The hackers have defaced hathway.com/news.php and hathway.net/news.php with a message that reads: “Boxed By Exploiter-Z, Anon Cop, Ch3rn0by1. P4K-M4D-HUNT3R-Z Arrived. Indian ISP Owned.”

At the time of writing, the websites are still defaced. It’s uncertain at this point if the company is even aware of the breach. A mirror of the defacement can be found on zone-h.org.

On Monday, the same hacker group announced breaching the systems of another Indian telecoms company, namely state-owned BSNL. Last month, they hacked  the Pakistan International Airlines and defaced the chat service website.

The hacktivist collective militates for the freedom of the Kashmir region.
