The goats climbed on top of the vehicle and refused to go down

This is another story of domestic animals gone wild. A car owner from Richmond, Maine, called the police last week to report a pair of rampant goats that attacked his Ford Focus.

Richmond Police Chief Scott MacMaster revealed that the unusual incident happened on April 19, when a man parked his vehicle outside a house on Marston Road. The two goats, that belong to the man’s neighbor and had escaped from his yard, climbed on top of the vehicle and remained there until local police arrived at the scene.

The officer who responded to the incident located the goats’ owner, who came in and managed to corral the wayward animals.

No injuries were reported, but the Ford Focus did get some scratches on its hood from the goats’ hooves.

“The vehicle owner was going to get estimates and give it to the neighbor and hopefully take care of it civilly,” MacMaster said, according to Yahoo News.

No charges have been laid against the goat owner, but it seems that this is not the first time the animals get in trouble with law enforcement.

“They have been known to get loose in the past. I guess they enjoy climbing on cars. It's like play for them,” MacMaster mentioned.
