Michael Bay is the kind of director who will probably always be popular with audiences but not so much with film critics. “Pain & Gain” might turn the tide in his favor. Above is a brand new official poster for it.

If you haven’t heard of the film yet, don’t worry, it’s not too late. Inspired by real events, it’s the story of a small group of bodybuilders who turn to a life of crime in the hope of finally getting to see their American dream come true.

This should explain the tagline in the latest artwork, “Their American dream is bigger than yours.” Note that their guns are probably bigger than yours too.

Starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Mark Wahlberg, and Anthony Mackie, “Pain & Gain” promises to be fun and action-packed, much like “Bad Boys,” which incidentally was the project that put Bay on the map.

It will be out on April 29.
