All-in-one PCs don't usually have many customizable features, but Packard Bell seems to have done its best to give buyers as large a say as possible in the configuration of its newest AiO.

Packard Bell is a subsidiary of Acer and is the one behind the existence of a variety of personal computers.

In this instance, it is finally getting ready to start selling an all-in-one PC which might get quite a few customers once it debuts, thanks to its platform options.

Basically, instead of keeping this newcomer completely focused on either the Intel or AMD available platforms, Packard Bell decided on both.

As such, one can choose between several second generation Core Series Sandy bridge chips from Intel, or AMD processors, with even a Phenom II X6 hexacore available.

It seems that not all hardware details are as easy to gauge, however, as the memory, storage and graphics options have not been perfectly outlined.

Then again, users will get several choices of those as well, so the mystery isn't really that excruciating.

Granted, Intel's processors have their own integrated GPUs, but since AMD's units don't, it is obvious that either an AMD Radoen or an NVIDIA GeForce solution will be present.

One asset that prospective customers can look forward to is the 20-inch display, which features support for touch inputs.

The pre-loaded TouchBrowser, TouchMusic, TouchPhoto, TouchVideo and TouchCam apps will let one make the best of this functionality.

Another interesting fact is that a TV tuner exists, as does a 2 megapixel webcam and an optical drive, the latter on the upper side.

All in all, this should be a fairly convenient, space-efficient computer suited for consumers of multiple budgets, with the starting price said to be of about 499 Euro (Amazon has a listing at £549.99). Sales should begin by the end of the ongoing month.
