Live items in the Content Information Screen on the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 4 are finally back online, after Sony was forced to take the feature down due to the heavy load experienced by the service.

The PS4 was released last week in Europe and other PAL regions like the Australia, and in order to make sure that the PlayStation Network online service remains operational and able to serve up the firmware update for the console, Sony decided to turn off some features, including vital ones like voucher redemption.

Slowly but surely, since the start of the week, the company has turned each of the features back on, and it's now revealed that the Live Item mechanic for the Content Information Screen is once again operational.

The announcement, made on the PS blog, notes that PS4 users will finally be able to enjoy this aspect of the PSN online service.

More missing features will be turned on in the near future.
