Sony has revealed a few more technical details about its upcoming PlayStation 4 next-gen console, confirming that the device's hard disk can be swapped and upgraded by owners, just like on PS3, and that the PS4 Eye Camera will need to be bought separately for $59/€49.

The PlayStation 4 received its first official photos during Sony's E3 2013 press conference and, since then, the company has been sharing lots of fresh info about the next-gen console.

Talking on Twitter with his followers, Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida revealed that the PS4's hard drive can be swapped or upgraded by owners themselves, just like on the PS3, making it really easy for those that feel constricted by the regular 500GB hard disk to get more storage.

What's more, Yoshida revealed that the PS4 Eye Camera won't be included in the PS4's regular edition, which costs 399 USD/EUR, as it will be sold separately for 59 USD/49 EUR.

Those who want more than one DualShock 4 controller will have to pay 59 USD/59 EUR.
