Updated files for GTA 5 hint at the possibility of a sixth online heist for Grand Theft Auto 5's multiplayer mode on PS3 and Xbox 360, besides the five already-confirmed missions, according to a new report.

GTA 5 has been around for quite some time, launching first on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in September of 2013, and for the PS4 and Xbox One in November of last year.

The game is set to appear on the PC this March, but a few weeks before that, Rockstar Games is expected to finally launch the online heists for Grand Theft Auto 5's multiplayer mode.

The heists were initially promised back in 2013 but the new versions of the game, plus the extensive testing required to do them right meant delays on top of delays. The last time frame was offered back in December and targeted the beginning of March.

PS3 and Xbox 360 users might get an extra heist

Now, it seems that Rockstar has begun updating the files for GTA 5, and Twitter user Funmw4 has managed to obtain a few details and some of the artwork that will be used in the multiplayer missions.

Besides confirming the new vehicles coming to the GTA 5 Online mode, from a plane to a helicopter and many more, the files also mention six heist finales for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. Meanwhile, the PS4 and Xbox One editions only have five.

Rockstar previously mentioned that five online heists would be released for Grand Theft Auto 5 in March but it did leave the door open for other surprises when it talked about them back in December.

As of yet, Rockstar hasn't commented on the leaks, so don't get your hopes too high until the company makes an official statement about the actual heists coming to GTA 5 Online in the following weeks.
