2K Sports, (publisher of
Take-Two Interactive who's considering selling out) has
just made public some new details about the highly anticipated All-Pro Football 2K8, featuring hundreds of legends combined with an innovative attribute system with signature abilities of each football star, such as John Elway, Jerry Rice, Barry Sanders and others, for the ultimate next-gen football experience.
Greg Thomas, President of Visual Concepts, a 2K Sports studio said: "With All-Pro Football 2K8, we're bringing the greatest players in football history back to the game. Imagine an offense featuring John Elway, Thurman Thomas and Jerry Rice going against a defense led by Ronnie Lott, Mike Singletary and Reggie White." How about those who can't imagine that exact scenario? They won't be able to play the game? Kidding of course... "By highlighting the signature abilities of the game's greatest legends," Thomas continued, "we have created a highly customizable and unique football experience tailored for the football fan."
Jerry Rice, the legendary wide receiver and all-time career leader in pass receptions, yards and touchdowns, is also "proud" to have a few words on All-Pro Football 2K8: "It's great to be back not only 'playing' the game I've loved my entire life, but now I get to compete with and against the best players of all time,. 2K Sports has a proud legacy of making the best football games and this one is no exception. With All-Pro Football 2K8 planned for a summer release for the
Xbox 360 and
PS3, we might just see a new genre of football games emerging and that is literally the "next generation" of football games from, 2K Sports.
