You've got to love all these secret projects which get leaked whenever a huge game conference is ready to kick off. Except for tons of rumors regarding a lot of projects that probably never existed, there are
still a few that prove to be real - The Last Guy is one of them. And we must admit that we're completely excited - it's not that often nowadays to hear about an exclusive PlayStation 3 project!

But it is true, it exists, and even more - it has a website or sort of, at the moment, since we only see a bunch of little red guys that look like the characters in Darwinia and just... walk. There are no other details, no further instructions, there's only a date: the 11th of July, which probably means that we'll get the information on Friday. Hopefully, it will be something a bit more exciting than the last "Afrika" super secret PS3 project.

First, rumors about this new Sony game started to be heard back in April, when eagle eyed Siliconera found out that the company had a trademark filled for "The Last Guy" title. Later, it was discovered that the game had already been rated by ESRB (only an E10 rating, which means we won't necessarily see too much blood and battles). However, other information on the title is not available. We can only hope for the best and wait until Friday.

Also, we could just speculate a little bit, since there are three key elements we can see on the teaser website: first, there's a red star posted before the game's title, which could mean communism (of course, it could also stand for "become a star", but we doubt that would be of any use for a new PS3 exclusive). The name itself, The Last Guy, makes us think of something really apocalyptic and these two details would fit a FPS game - however, there is already a release called Red Faction which does the same thing. And FPS games don't go hand in hand with E10 ratings. Finally, the third and most important element on the page is that strange symbol where the question mark appears - it could be something of an alien origin. So, red, alien, The Last Guy - are we talking about another game with Martians? We'll see on Friday, so stay tuned with Softpedia!
