PS3 Media Server 1.50.1 Improves Audio and Video Synchronization

A new build for PS3 Media Server is out, tackling a set of issues available in the previous release. Apart from eliminating problems, this build also updates a part of its components such as MediaInfo, JRE auto-download or FFmpeg suite.

First on the list of changes in PS3 Media Server 1.50.1 is improved audio/video synchronization when using tsMuxeR (Transport Stream muxer).

The delay present upon entering the media server should no longer be present in this release, which also comes with improved support for Samsung AllShare devices.

Since PS3 Media Server is Java-based, the application is available for all three major platforms, Windows, Mac and Linux.

The purpose of this application is to act as mediator between your computer and the TV, allowing you to stream media (audio, video and image).
