PS3 Exclusive Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Coming to Europe

- Full 3D experience coming to your PS3 consoles

By: Calin Ciabai, Games Editor

The Leaf Village is, once again (and definitely not for the last time) in danger and you will have to save the day while enjoying a great game. Atari
has just announced the release of Namco Bandai's latest Naruto title, which is coming as a PS3 exclusive in Europe this November. The ninja experience in Naruto has never been that good and never seemed to be that real as in Ultimate Ninja Storm, since you will have full 3D animations now and the open world concept has finally come to the Hidden Leaf Village.

Players will unleash powerful jutsu attacks, perform acrobatic evasive manoeuvres and even run up walls and over water as they pursue their opponent for ninja supremacy. Players can customize their character’s fighting style and recruit up to two support characters to put their own stamp on the action. Each character in the game is capable of transforming into powerful Awakening forms under certain gameplay conditions, offering new traits and abilities to the game’s impressive ninja roster of 25 popular characters from the animated series. Also, Naruto: Ultimate "Ninja Storm supports head to head multiplayer battles for up to two players.

Since the open world concept has found its way into the Hidden Leaf Village and the Forest of Death, we will now be able to explore every inch of the world in the search for enemies to fight against, friends to take on the journey with us and... uhm... little pebbles? (I'm just guessing, you know!)

Actually, there are over 100 unique missions and scrolls to be collected, as well as lots of interactions with characters from the animated Naruto series. Also, the game's developers promise to bring us a graphical engine that will surpass the hand-drawn animations of the series, coming with full 3D facial animations and lots of goodies to turn your Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm in the ultimate eye-candy experience. You'll only have to be a bit more patient, though, since you won't see the game earlier than November - only on your PS3 consoles.
