PS3 Exclusive Grand Theft Auto IV Content

Microsoft confirmed for Eurogamer website that the Xbox version of Grand Theft Auto IV will contain exclusive downloadable content and website representatives added that PS3 fans need not fear because the Sony release will have its own additions.

Rockstar North sources confirmed for the website that the development team is currently working on exclusive content for both systems, which will be available to gamers via the Xbox Live downloading system and via the upcoming downloading system for the PS3.

Grand Theft Auto IV, the next installment in the GTA series is due to come out on October 16 2007 in North America, while Europeans will be able to enjoy the game, three days later, on October 19 of the same year.

The first announcement regarding exclusive episodic content for the Grand Theft Auto IV game was made in the 2006 E3 and was later on confirmed by Rockstar representatives. To be more exact, Rockstar announced that two extra, exclusive episodes will be featured on the Xbox version of the game.
