PlayStation 3 owners of Call of Duty: Black Ops are pretty angry at its publisher, Activision, for not ensuring that the title will perform well on the platform, and have started a petition, mandating for a full refund because they were sold an "inferior" product.

Call of Duty: Black Ops was the biggest entertainment launch of the year, breaking sales records left and right, but encountered many technical problems on both the PC and the PlayStation 3, while the Xbox 360 platform escaped with just a few glitches.

Even after patches were released for all of the platforms, people are still complaining that the game still isn't what they expected when they paid $60 for it.

As such, PlayStation 3 owners are uniting against Activision, saying that their platform "can equal and/or outperform the Xbox 360 on many levels", yet Call of Duty: Black Ops has "sub-par graphics, buggy software and less features" than the Xbox 360 version.

The petition goes on with a few rhetorical questions, about how an inferior product was delivered to their platform and how gamers, specifically, PlayStation 3 owners, were wronged.

"Is it fair to charge PlayStation 3 owners the same price for an inferior product, when both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 had the same amount of development time?"

"Is it fair to charge PlayStation 3 owners the same price for an inferior product, when the previous version (Modern Warfare 2) was equal on both systems but the updated version (BO) is not?"

"Is it fair to charge PlayStation 3 owners the same price for an inferior product, when the previous version (Modern Warfare 2 on PS3) looked visually better than BO looks now on PS3?"

Ultimately, the petition demands for a full refund of the money spent on Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Do you agree with these claims? If so, then check out the webpage of the petition here.
