Sony kicks off a 3-week sales spree with discounts for downloadable games

Sony has kicked off a series of discounts on its European PlayStation Store, slashing the prices on a variety of downloadable games for the PlayStation Vita handheld platform.

The PlayStation Vita has received quite a lot of interesting games since its release in February and, even if sales haven’t been that great, Sony is trying to help out owners by slashing prices of quite a lot of Vita-compatible content.

In the first week of this sale, Sony has reduced the prices of games like Escape Plan, Hustle Kings, Motorstorm RC, Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, Top Darts, Super Stardust Delta + Advanced Star Fighter Pack, and more.

In the second week, digital versions of retail games from the PS Store will see their prices slashed, while on the third week, Sony’s implementing discounts for a variety of PSP and PS mini titles that can be played on the Vita.
