After detailing yesterday the PlayStation Plus March update for subscribers in PAL regions like Europe, Australia, New Zealand, or the Middle East, Sony has just confirmed what North American users will receive and big titles, like Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition for PS4, or Tomb Raider for PS3, are set to go free.

PlayStation Plus users get quite a lot of benefits in exchange for their premium membership, including discounts and big sales, not to mention access to the Instant Game Collection, which is home to many high-quality free titles.

For the month of March, quite a few great games will join the collection, starting with Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition on PS4, and continuing with Tomb Raider for the PS3, Thomas Was Alone, and Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut for both the PS3 and PS Vita, and finishing with Unit 13 and Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite for the PS Vita.

Dead Nation was launched initially for the PS3 back in 2010, and now developer Housemarque has implemented quite a lot of great improvements in order to launch it for the PS4 in the form of an Apocalypse Edition, which also includes the Road to Devastation DLC.

PS3 owners will be treated to Tomb Raider, one of the best games of last year, which delivers a great action adventure experience starring a younger version of Lara Croft, who's shipwrecked on a mysterious island. She must explore the environment and fight against mercenaries, while solving puzzles and improving her arsenal.

Indie fans will get two great titles next month, in the form of Thomas Was Alone, the platformer that impressed many through its emphasis on the friendship of a group of rectangles, and Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut, a touching psychological survival adventure.

Both games will retain their cross-buy nature, meaning they'll be available for both the PS3 and the PS Vita platforms.

PS Vita owners will also get two more great games made exclusively for their platform, starting with Unit 13. Coming from the now defunct Zipper Interactive studio, the title delivered a realistic shooter experience that emphasized completing missions and battles in the most efficient ways possible.

RPG owners with PS Vita consoles will also get to enjoy Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite, one of the most popular entries in Capcom's franchise, delivering a sprawling experience that can supply players with more than 500 hours of gameplay, not to mention a huge amount of customization options as well as monsters to slay.

The new PS Plus games will be released throughout the month of March in North America, according to PS blog.
