Today, the fashionable PRADA phone by LG 3.0, the latest handset in the series developed jointly by LG and Prada, has arrived in Vodafone Australia’s online store.
The smartphone is set to become available through the wireless carrier’s brick and mortar stores nationwide as well, starting Wednesday April 11, 2012.
The handset features PRADA
’s clean and sharp design philosophy and the proprietary Saffiano pattern, which is meant to attract through its outer design.
Moreover, it can deliver great performance capabilities, courtesy of a powerful 1.0GHz Dual-Core/Dual-Channel architecture, along with fast navigation over 3G and WiFi.
The specifications list for the new device includes a 4.3-inch touchscreen display with WVGA (800 x 480) resolution and 800 nit of brightness, along with 8GB of internal memory.
On the back, the new mobile phone features an 8-megapixel photo snapper with support for HD video recording. The handset also packs a 1540mAh battery inside.
The PRADA phone by LG 3.0 was launched with Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform on board, but should get a taste of the newer Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as well soon.
In addition to the new device, those users who purchase the mobile phone through Vodafone’s website between the 4th and 11th of April will also receive a special accessory bonus pack. The pack includes a PRADA branded desk cradle and a Bluetooth head-set, valued at $298 (226 Eur).

The phone was launched with the new Vodafone Network Guarantee in tow as well. Thus, customers unhappy with their purchase will be able to return the device within 30 days.
