A few days ago, Nokia Philippines let it slip that MeeGo-based N9 smartphones would soon receive the rumored PR1.3 update.
Today, the folks over at
Unleashthephones have been approached by a Nokia N9 owner living in Poland who claims that the PR1.3 update is now rolling out in the country.
If the information proves to be correct, it means the
PR1.3 update will soon reach all European N9 devices in the following weeks.
There are no additional details on the update’s changelog, but we know software version 40.2012.21-3.001.19 is about 205MB in size.
Hopefully, the update will soon appear in other countries as well, along with information on the actual changes. Word is that Nokia plans to release a PR1.4 update as well, but we don’t have any confirmation on this one yet. Stay tuned for more info on the subject.
