They have a moon-shaped opening and are completely capless

USB 3.0 flash drives are always good to have, but flash drives that can also take a beating are a step above the rest. Sure, they don't break just from being dropped by mistake, but they are particularly susceptible to being stepped on when misplaced, among other things.

The new flash drives from PNY, the HP x720w and x750w, aren't all that resistant to water, since they're capless, so nothing will stop the moisture from seeping in, or any other liquid for that matter.

They are completely shock-proof, though, coming with a touch metallic case. Dust and scratches should also be a minor concern, if they qualify at all.

You may also appreciate the attachments at the end, which allows you to attach it to backpacks, laptop bags, lanyards, key chains, or any other straps and strings.

The HP x720w has a moon-shaped opening for that, while the drive has a flexible clip-on hook instead, making it look even more rugged, but without losing the shiny, streamlined feel.

The x720w and x750w USB 3.0 flash drives both come in 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. Unfortunately, prices were not disclosed, so you'll have to wait for stores to pick them up and ship them.
