Long-time Nvidia partner PNY has also joined the GTX 560 launch party with the introduction of the XLR8 GeForce GTX 560, which packs a custom-designed software solution as well as an extensive bundle.

Outside of the modifications brought to the card's cooling system, the XLR8 GTX 560 doesn't differ too much from Nvidia reference design as it features the same 810MHz GPU and 1002MHz (4008MHz data rate) memory operating frequencies.

The card also gets the same standard video output configurations, that consists of two dual-link DVI ports and a mini-HDMI connector.

Nvidia has developed the GTX 560 to allow its users to play modern games at a 1920x1080 resolution, and the graphics card packs 336 stream processors, 56 texture units, 32 ROP units as well as a 256-bit wide memory bus.

Its TDP is rated at 150W, which means that it consumes 10W less than the GTX 460 1GB it's meant to replace.

Together with the graphics card, PNY customers will also get a 16ft HDMI-Mini to HDMI cable, valued at $49.99 by the company, a bonus full-length movie download from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and a 3-month subscription to E-Sports Entertainment (ESEA) Premium Video Game Network.

“Offering a long list of premium GTX gaming technologies, the PNY GTX 560 offers a huge value to consumers,” said Nicholas Mauro, senior marketing manager, PC components for PNY.

“And with the HDMI port gamers can also utilize their PNY High Speed HDMI cable for amazing full 1080p experience.

“Gamers will definitely appreciate this affordable graphics card that still has enormous power,” concluded the company's rep.

The PNY XLR8 GeForce GTX 560 is available right now from both online and brick and mortar retailers for a recommended price of $199.99.
