The organization wants Andre Scott to admit the sneakers are a result of animal cruelty

Just a couple of days back, PETA tackled Kim Kardashian and argued that her fashion choices make her unfit to be a mother.

The organization now appears to be picking up a fight with Andre Scott, the CEO of a company whose staff recently went through the trouble of piecing together a custom-made pair of sneakers for Beyonce.

More precisely, PETA has recently sent a letter to Andre Scott, asking that both he and other employees of PMK quit issuing false statements concerning how “animal friendly” Beyonce's new shoes are.

Although Andre Scott maintains that no animals were hurt when manufacturing these sneakers, PETA argues that, since some of the materials used are crocodile, anaconda, stingray, and ostrich skins, together with calf hair, the people who made these shoes can and should be blamed for promoting animal cruelty.

“PMK must face up to the fact that a variety of species were slaughtered for these shoes or confront a consumer-fraud lawsuit.”

“The company's attempt to cover up this cruelty is as ludicrous as a fast-food chain telling customers, ‘No cows were harmed in the making of our burgers’,” said PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk.
