The organization carves its message in stone at Fenway Park, Boston

Boston's Fenway Park recently celebrated its 100th anniversary and, in order to properly mark the event, allowed fans to carve personal messages in bricks which will later on be placed inside the stadium.

Naturally, green-oriented organization PETA could not have missed such a chance to once again try and get across its messages concerning animal rights.

This time, they decided to speak on behalf of lobster, especially given the fact that the 2012's Maine Lobster Festival was just around the corner at the time when they carved in stone their view on the topic of eating these crustaceans.

PETA's Fenway Park stone reads as follows: “Lead Our Bo Sox To Early Runs! Late Inning Blasts! Easy Routs! A Trophy In Our Name.” This might not make much sense to most people, but their acronym spells “Lobster Liberation.”

Apparently, PETA members and several other animal rights defenders believe that, “No animal wants to end up on someone else’s plate, so skip the lobster festival. Hit the Green Monster instead and eat green, not mean.”
