French manicure is so yesterday and all fashionistas know it. PETA is lending a helping hand, by introducing a collection of cruelty-free bunny-themed nail skins.

The limited edition, available starting January 20th, marks a collaboration between People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and Nail Couture L.A, in an attempt to keep pretty natural nails far away from harmful chemicals like toluene, formaldehyde, and camphor.

Since PETA is actively involved in this project, potential buyers can breathe at ease: the product was definitely not tested on cute, furry animals. The kit, priced at $16 (€12.5) includes a nail file, 22 nail art stickers and a set of instructions.

The bunny-themed nail wraps will most likely start a new trend all across the US, proving that the fashion industry can become more eco-friendly, without having to compromise the aesthetic side of its products.
