Konami has offered a few more details about its upcoming Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 football simulator, confirming that the new title will run at a 1080p full HD resolution and a 60fps framerate on the PS4, although its performance on the Xbox One is still unclear, as the studio hasn't put the finishing touches on it.

PES 2015 was finally detailed last week by Konami, with the Japanese publisher revealing the first list of features of the upcoming soccer simulator and how it's going to debut this fall on the PS4 and Xbox One, as well as on a series of unannounced platforms.

As with most games coming to both platforms, Konami was assaulted with questions about its performance, and European Brand Manager Adam Bhatti revealed to Videogamer that, right now, the simulator is running at a 1080p full HD resolution and a 60fps framerate on the PS4.

"We're locked at 60 frames, 1080p already, and this is the first build," he said about the PS4 version that was shown to the media during the official announcement of the new Pro Evolution Soccer title.

Senior Creative Producer Naoya Hatsumi also chimed in to say that the game is still very much in development and that no guarantees can be given about the performance of PES 2015 onto the Xbox One.

"At the current development stage we're in - which is just under 70 per cent complete - we still have a lot of work on game balance and some of the gameplay elements are just much more visible on what we want to deliver."

"We thought that would be able to be conveyed best through a PS4 at this stage, but we are definitely working on the Xbox One [and] all other platforms in parallel to the PS4 edition."

Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 is powered by the Fox engine developed originally by Konami's Kojima Productions studio for the Metal Gear Solid franchise.

The latest game using the engine that appeared on the PS4 and Xbox One was Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes and it displayed better performance on the PS4, where it had a 1080p resolution and a 60fps framerate, while reaching 1080p and a 30fps framerate on the Xbox One.

Considering it will take a few months before Konami releases PES 2015 onto the new consoles, you can expect the Japanese company to offer some more details about its performance on the Xbox One until then.
