Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that the next patch for its multiplayer shooter on PC will enable support for PCs with multiple graphics cards, while removing the cap put on the frames-per-second possible in the title.

Titanfall launched this week for the PC and Xbox One platforms, allowing fans from around the world to finally see if the multiplayer-only first-person shooter from Respawn Entertainment can live up to the phenomenal amount of hype.

While the consensus is that the game is quite impressive on both platforms, PC owners aren't that happy as their version of the title doesn't run as intended on computers with multiple graphics set up in SLI, for Nvidia, or Crossfire, for AMD.

Throw in other annoyances like the capped frames-per-second, and PC gamers are even postponing their purchase of Titanfall.

While speaking with fans on Twitter, Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella has confirmed that the next PC patch for Titanfall will enable multi-GPU support and remove the limit imposed on the framerate.

According to Zampella, no date is available for the new patch, so it's unclear when it might eventually be released for Titanfall. Just like with Battlefield 4, however, expect the patch to appear via the Origin digital distribution service.
