14 DAY TRIAL // Yes, we've got it... The most awaited game of this summer is finally available on the PC, in its demo version, but it will ship to the States on August 22, so start counting the days and download the demo here.
We'll see an European release this Friday, but still there's reason enough to play the demo, specially if you don't own an Xbox 360 and you haven't played the one available on Xbox Live Marketplace. I have and I must tell you that the game is superb... Also, it turns out that the PC demo is the same as the Xbox 360 one, so you're in for a great experience. Be advised: the game's publisher mentioned that you should download the latest drivers from ATI and Nvidia, if you want top performance while playing it.
These drivers were made available today, just in time to enable quality gameplay and a pleasant collection of thrills and chills up your spine. As, I'm sure many of you have quit reading this article, hitting the "Download" button, you might want to keep reading, till the demo is completely downloaded and your drivers are updated. The BioShock demo gives you a chance to play a bit of the game's beginning and get accustomed to its gameplay, admire its environment and get a grip of the controls.
This is one of the best FPS titles I've seen in years and one of the most promising games this summer. If you've played the Xbox 360 version of the demo, check out the PC one, searching for different features and better graphics. While the features will be the same, you'll get a serious amount of eye candy, that the Xbox 360 couldn't completely offer you. I must be all alone by now... Everyone's gone playing BioShock...
