PBBans – the community of server admins who dedicate their existence to fighting cheaters – has become the target of a massive distributed denial-of-service (DDOS) attack that forced it to take serious measures.

“As some are already aware PBBans is currently under multiple DDoS attacks which are targeting our web and hub servers. We are working to get them back online as soon as possible,” PBBans representatives wrote on July 26.

Another statement revealed that the incident forced them to move their servers to another host in Chicago where they would have better options to deal with such threats.

They’ve also provided server admins with the ban lists they keep for the more popular game titles.

The latest update indicates that their servers should arrive at the new destination any time now. Users can follow their activity on the PBBans Twitter account or on the website.
